"Mushara Bush Camp review"

2 nights Arrived 15 Sep 2013
"We really loved this place. We had no idea what a bush camp was - but they are luxury tent structures in a bush setting.

The site was beautifully lit and the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent with a barbecue set up outside the second night. really convenient to go back into the east side of Etosha" See all these reviews: 13n in Namibia

"We loved this lodge - friendly and attentive. Nice pool. Lovely clean rooms with nice showers.

Hot water bottles in bed by the time we arrived back from dinner- what a treat ! Would be fine if using as a base to visit Etosha but otherwise is probably a one-night stopover place." See all these reviews: 7n in Namibia; 2n in Botswana; 2n in Zimbabwe

"Real bush experience."

2 nights Arrived 10 Aug 2013
"Great place just a few kilometres outside Etosha.

We were allocated Tent 13, which was a LONG walk back to reception! However it was right out in the bush and very private, so it had its advantages! Animals were around the tent during the night (hope they were deer!).

Meal outside round fire on night one (chilly)
Meal inside on night two (much warmer)

Very helpful staff." See all these reviews: 19n in Namibia

"Beautiful and restful spot"

2 nights Arrived 3 Aug 2013
"After two days in Etosha, we arrived here and just relaxed in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Again, remarkably exquisite design, truly fabulous food (better than Europe) and extremely friendly and helpful staff.

One quibble - there was a powerful smell of sewage as we walked to our rooms - and we even had wafts of it in the dining room when we were eating. But it shows what a fabulous place this was that we still absolutely adored it here and didn't want to leave." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia

"Mushara Bush Camp review"

1 night Arrived 1 Aug 2013
"Incredibly tastefui accomodation and central boma, greast style - the best of the whole trip. Pool good for children, and the only lodge that considered that children may appreciate some books and games - fantastic for the girls to be able to have access to these.

The staff sang and danced and presented a cake to my husband as it was it was his 50th birthday and this made for a truly memorable evening.

Fabulous varied gift shop too!" See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 2n in Botswana

"Relaxed camp just outside of Etosha"

2 nights Arrived 29 Jul 2013
"Nice and relaxed tented camp just outside of Etosha. Beautiful main area. Tents are comfortable and clean, children stay in the same tent in additional sleeper couches.

Only minus was that our tent was pretty noisy because of the wind that got under part of the roof.

Friendly and helpful atmosphere. Food was excellent, the singing and dancing of the staff (they do it every other night) was marvellous!" See all these reviews: 16n in Namibia

"Mushara Bush Camp review"

1 night Arrived 23 Jul 2013
"Looks impressive when you arrive in the reception/dining area but it was all rather pretentious. The 'tents' were located a very long walk from the dining area and seemed very artificial- nothing like real camping. The service was impersonal, although people the were friendly enough.

It did not have the feel of some of the other tented lodges in Namibia where you were made personally at home by the owner or manager. It felt more like a hotel than a bush camp." See all these reviews: 12n in Namibia; 2n in Zambia
