"A great six week trip to South Africa"

I visited South Africa between 14 Oct 2014 and 25 Nov 2014
"We really enjoyed the trip and were very impressed with what we experienced in South Africa.

A good balance between sightseeing, wildlife, wining & dining, safari and walking." Read full review: 42 nights in Africa; 34 on a South Africa trip

"My Oct 2014 trip"

I visited South Africa and 2 other countries between 1 Oct 2014 and 21 Oct 2014
"First of all we must complement Expert Africa for helping us choose where to go and where to stay, we have had a fantastic time, so many memories . . . .

Everything worked like clockwork - flights, transfers and car hire.

A bonus was being able to dip out of the programme to stay with my sister for a couple of days.

Each element of the holiday - Victoria Falls, Okavango Delta, the Cape were all different but enjoyable in their own way.

One thing that worked particularly well was to have the leisurely stop at Victoria Falls at the beginning of the holiday, and the leisurely shopping stop in Cape Town at the end." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 10 on a South Africa trip

"Sep 14 SA and Namibia"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 6 Sep 2014 and 26 Sep 2014
"Wonderful. SA was lovely but Namibia was just stunning. Scenery was amazing, wildlife abundant, roads empty and the people very friendly. Easy paced holiday allowing us to do as much or as little as we wanted. Drove over 2,500 miles but barely noticed it! Thank you so much for the excellent itinerary.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Warn travellers about the chaos at Joburg airport!! Do not book people onto internal connecting flights that leave within 2 hours of initial arrival." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"My Aug 2014 trip"

I visited South Africa between 14 Aug 2014 and 17 Sep 2014
"We thought it was very good value for money.
Staff at airports, hotels, restaurant, everywhere were excellent. Very friendly, very helpful.
Food quality exceeded our expectations.
Good variety of foods available.
Very varied landscape and activities with the choices we made, so no time to get bored.
Packing not so easy with temps from 34degC to 2degC
Very pleased we took our GPS, less stressful, no music in the car is the biggest negative. Radio stations are boring or not in English.
Main reason to travel at this time of year was to see Namaqualand in flower, it was spectacular.

"Southern Africa trip"

I visited Botswana and 3 other countries between 25 Apr 2014 and 10 May 2014
"Overall our trip was excellent. Only glitches were a missing extra spare tire in Namibib and they guy in Livingstone who was to meet us ran off with another couple. Thanks to a great airport travel desk guy, he sorted it out and matched us with the person we needed.

The Expert Africa folks we dealt with were uniformly very good to excellent. There were some delays in feedback during the planning process which we noted but overall very good. Quick feedback during the planning process is critical to us as we are comparing ideas and proposals from more than one company and we need to hear from everyone.

For this trip we spoke to three different folks--Nick, Sabina and one other. Next time I would spend more time in conversation with each of them and would better understand our itinerary options. There is only so much I retain from web sites and travel books.

We also want to find places in Botswana with animals. That was the big surprise for this trip. Our East Africa trips have spoiled us and shaped our expectations for game viewing." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 6 on a Botswana safari

"My Feb 2014 trip"

I visited South Africa between 1 Feb 2014 and 8 Feb 2014
"Another great trip arranged by Expert Africa.

To improve things if we did a week again, we'd stay in just one place for the first 2 nights, not 2 as we did this time. It was just a little rushed" Read full review: 7 nights in Africa; 6 on a South Africa trip

"South Africa yet again"

I visited South Africa between 27 Jan 2014 and 12 Feb 2014
"We have been to sub-Sahara Africa fourteen times now, althogh not always to South Africa and not always with Expert Africa. This was another good trip with good sightseeing, game viewing, food and wine. An extra night would have been useful at some venues, but we had to cope with a fixed time slot.

Africa is an incurable disease - we will be back for more." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 13 on a South Africa trip
