"Chikoko tree camp hot- spot"
we asked to see the kitchen and it is marvellous that such quality food is cooked with these simple facilities. The guiding was careful and really excellent, thanks to Cameron. the only comment is that the rooms were a bit airless and stuffy but otherwise we were so glad to have followed advice to add this to our trip." "great walking again"
Rooms are better without the canvas roof, but still a bit airless at night and so hot. Nice new ladder in room 1." See all these reviews: 14n in Zambia

"A great walking camp"
Rooms are a little whacky - so you may need to do stairs in the middle of the night to get down to the loo - but hey, you are here for adventure anyway!" See all these reviews: 11n in Zambia
"Chikoko Tree Camp review"
Cameron our guide, was very knowledgeable and great fun to be with. We became particularly fond of George, our tea bearer who taught Mike how to make fire without matches. Also our thanks go to our spotter, Emanuel, who looked after us very carefully and at no time did I feel any danger because he and Cameron knew exactly what to do when danger threatened." "A totally new experience"
Initially I was a little nervous in my chalet because of having to negotiate the stairs at night time to visit the Toilet but I soon appreciated this when I noticed how close I was to the animals." See all these reviews: 7n in Zambia

"A room with a view, and what a view."
While obviously more remote than Tafika the service, food and the camp were just as good.
Could the holiday get better?
Excellent for all aspects................" See all these reviews: 12n in Zambia
"first walking safari"
It feels safe to be walking with him as he sees ahead and takes care. His scout Saisi is first class - chatty and bright and with good eyesight. We loved his stories about his village life, and taled with him about the problems and few opportunities they have at present.
We did not much like the stairs at Chikoko which were a bit narrow at night, and the canvas roof keeps the heat in.
Brighton the tea maker is a character and we still have his laugh ringing in our ears.
I introduced a "high five" hand signal to complement the Zambia handshake when the staff did really well, so I am sorry if this is out of character for them." See all these reviews: 14n in Zambia
