"My Apr 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia between 29 Apr 2012 and 8 May 2012
"We loved the trip. Sabina did an excellent job of planning our itinerary and helping us along the way.

Our itinerary involved quite a bit of driving and in end I am glad we drove even though there were several days that I wished we only had to drive 3 hours instead of 4 or 5. But it was a wonderful way to see the country and feel a part of it. I loved the changing landscape. If we had been able to plan a longer trip we would have benefited from staying in places for another day." Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 9 on a Namibia trip

"Namibia Holiday May 2012"

I visited Namibia between 21 Apr 2012 and 13 May 2012
"Very satisfactory really does do justice to the experience. The scenery, the lodges, the people, the wildlife, the tours, the food; it was all wonderful!

Sabina was very patient, efficient and helpful throughout the booking process. Everything was well explained and ran like clockwork. Well done Expert Africa and thank you." Read full review: 22 nights in Africa; 7 on a Namibia trip

"A memorable holiday"

I visited Namibia between 8 Feb 2012 and 2 Mar 2012
"It was outstanding.

Very well organized - thank you Sabina for all your hard work, care and suggestions. We will be back in the near future and hope that Sabina will look after us for a third time.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Get another car-hire firm or make it clear that they must deliver what is promised and payed for - we got only one spare wheel though payed for two.

But that is a minor complaint compared to our overall appreciation and enjoyment. Thank you" Read full review: 23 nights in Africa; 17 on a Namibia trip

"Another great trip"

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 20 Jan 2012 and 12 Mar 2012
"All went according to plan with no problems. We have highlighted only 2 things that were not up to standard but not of your doing.
We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the organisation by yourselves was first class as always.

We asked for our documentation to be sent early as we were leaving our home in Portugal a few days before the part of our holiday that you organised and it arrived even earlier than we expected. Thank you for that.

Can't wait for the next one!

"Enjoyable trip"

I visited Namibia between 3 Jan 2012 and 27 Jan 2012
"Namibia is a beautiful country and we recommend a trip there!

We love the vastness and openess of the place and the scenery can be breathtaking at times Take a trip up any riverbed and in particular the Swakop River and sit back and be prepared to be blown away by mother nature. Even driving along some of its awful roads is great fun (you must have the right vehicle though!) but the tarred roads we found to be in very good conditon with very little traffic. Put on a CD and enjoy the drive!! You never know what you will see along the way!

Namibia is very expensive though, a complaint made by nearly every other tourist we chatted to and even the localsfeel that we tourists are ripped off with very high charges. It is something the Namibian Tourist Board needs to seriously look at. Not everyone who would love to go there is wealthy!

"My Jan 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 1 Jan 2012 and 12 Jan 2012
"Also helped by Gwnneth, as well as Angela, who was equally helpful. Everything worked out well. We had a fantastic holiday & won't hesitate to recommend Expert Africa.

It seemed expensive when we booked it, but worth it when you consider the benefits of an individual trip & how well looked after you are.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Currency - can't remember if you advised it or I read it somewhere but took all my Rand/Namibian $'s in 100 notes, fellow travellers sometimes had difficulty using 200 notes. Likewise in Vic Falls, cash machines empty, hotel credit card machine not working. fortunately being prepaid didn't affect us, but no one could give change for ea $10 note if you bought a coke, so essential you take lots of small notes.

Thank you all for a memorable trip.

"a wonderful holiday"

I visited Namibia between 24 Nov 2011 and 10 Dec 2011
"We had the time of our lives in Namibia. We enjoyed it so much that we are planning to go back for my 60th birthday.

Expert Africa - Thank you!!!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

It would be helpful to have an estimate as to how long it takes to drive between the camps.

Tell people that if they hire the second spare wheel for hire cars that it is not carried externally and luggage space in the boot will be halved so soft bags would be the best luggage and not cases." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 16 on a Namibia trip

"Thank you Expert Africa"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 6 Nov 2011 and 29 Nov 2011
"Expert Africa did an excellent job of organising our 3 week tour to Namibia and Botswana.

You have certainly done your homework and your knowledge of the various locations is impressive. Usually, we book our own trips, but, given the complexity of things in this area, we were happy to let you do it.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

You are already doing a great job. We felt we were dealing with a small friendly company which really listened to us, unlike Abercrombie and Kent a few years ago - that experience just about put us off travel agents for ever." Read full review: 23 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"Better than expected"

I visited Namibia between 2 Nov 2011 and 23 Nov 2011
"Very good. People friendly, service excellent on the whole.

Lots of memories of amazing places and events such as picnic on trip to Dunes from Hoodia Lodge. White napkins and chilled wine

Glad we did it. The roads were much better than we expected and the friendliness of the people who looked after us was really lovely. The trip from Hoodia Lodge to the dunes was outstanding and the yummy picnic under a tree with white wine and napkins will be talked about for a long time.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Maybe suggest a different place in Swakopmund." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip
