The only wrinkle was that we were doing Namibia and Botswana, so we worked with two different team members at EA who had experience in each country in the earlier phases of trip planning (good), but neither of them seemed to take responsibility for the overall trip (the wrinkle) until we asked them to figure it out and put one person in charge of pushing things forward." Everywhere we went it was noticeable that the lodge owners had only good things to say about Expert Africa and your handling agents in Southern Africa, (Wilderness Safari's?)

"A good holiday"
We were incredibly lucky to see 12 or more rhinos gathered at the waterhole in Okaukuejo one night. We were also lucky to see a cheetah and cub and catch a glimpse of a leopard. However, we had no lion sightings which is a pity as were keen to see Namibian lions.
As for planning, if we had stated rather than implied that we were keen wildlife photographers we wonder if our route would have been different? We also wish we had stayed at Namutoni camp instead of Mushara camp as this would have given is additional wildlife viewing time before and after sunset.

"Expert Africa made this a trip to remember!"
Since our return, Sabina has been quick to help resolve a couple of minor issues.
We are delighted with the quality of service provided by Expert Africa and their staff and are more than happy to recommend them to anyone making their first visit to Namibia.
We found the Bradt guides to be very informative and accurate - there was not much we wanted to know that was not contained within their pages. By the way, contrary to advice given, $200 notes were accepted everywhere!

"My May 2014 trip"
We were too tired in Cape Town to fully appreciate and enjoy it. Then having to get to a 6am flight to Windhoek, really kept us from getting fully adjusted. I did not appreciate the distances we had to cover in Namibia and the slow going (with no place for rest stops) on the gravel roads. We loved everything we saw in Namibia, and I have no regrets. I just wish we had more opportunity for catching our breath or down time!
Botswana is special - everything is easy. Wilderness Safaris do an amazing job, down to helping us check our luggage as we were departing from Maun. All their staff are charming and helpful. "My May 2014 trip"
People are very friendly in Namibia, it's pretty affordable, and easy to get around. Some of the gravel roads are challenging, but not dangerous. We covered a lot of distance in little time, so in retrospect maybe having more down time would be nice.
But overall it was fantastic, well organized by Expert Africa. We appreciate the help putting this itinerary together! Many thanks!

"Our May 2014 trip"
Distances longer than expected - along very poor roads in many instances. Would have been useful to know which were gravel or tarmac. Some roads very bad for our VW Polo car. Thus very long journeys- yes I know it's Africa! Not sure whether a larger car would have helped but fellow travellers thought so
