"Shame about no cats but lovely camp"
The camp was superbly run, food and accomodation were excellent, though disappointed not to see any predators during our stay. I have marked down the activities because of this.
Our guide Bertram was great, vibrant personality and fun to be with, he tried hard to find us some cats but it was not to be." See all these reviews: 12n in Zambia

"Tena Tena review"
While the staff were great and the guide (Jacob) was excellent I did not get the same feeling about the camp as with Kaingo/Mwamba. Maybe it was a matter of scale - Tena is obviously a luxury camp and part of a bigger organisation. I would take nothing away from Tena but I personally just prefer the smaller, more rustic and family run camps." See all these reviews: 17n in Zambia
"Loved every minute at Tena Tena"
Baboons and Puku in camp again - and even a baboon paying a quick visit to our shower at one point!
Brilliant day and night drives, wonderful fellow guests. Felt like we were leaving true friends when we left. The sights, the sounds, (the smells! - in-joke) will stay with us forever." See all these reviews: 10n in Zambia
"Tented Tena Tena"
The tents are very comfortable and add a little bit extra to the safari expereince. We ate the world's best banoffi pie at Tena Tena. (even better than at Nkwali)" See all these reviews: 14n in Zambia
"Tena Tena review"
Tena Tena had taken the trouble to construct a hide on the river bank close to a carmine bee-eater colony which gave us a wonderful opportunity to get close to the action.
Of a slight concern is the proximity of the camp to an area where hunting is taking place and this seems to be having an effect on certain of the species and their behaviour - particularly the lions." See all these reviews: 9n in Botswana; 8n in Zambia
"Delights from the two Tenas"
Prince found us the eland at last! Lovely location and very fine game watching, including fascinating night drives (we loved the honey badger).
I'm sorry the fruit bats which invaded out tent were not allowed to stay, but can well understand why!" See all these reviews: 14n in Zambia
"Tena Tena review"
Only (very!) minor negatives being the main vista from the camp has a large island blocking views of the river at this time of year and that dinner on Day 4 was same as Day 1." See all these reviews: 12n in Zambia
