"I want to go back!"

I visited Namibia between 21 Apr 2015 and 30 Apr 2015
"It was an excellent trip in every way. Everything went smoothly without a single hitch. Everywhere we went we were met by the most charming, friendly and professional staff (less so at Onguma, but while it was disappointing it didn't spoil our overall enjoyment). Of course we loved the landscape, especially Damaraland, and the game, but it is always the people, the staff, who make your trip and your stay memorable. It's been sixteen years since we were last in Namibia and I can't wait to go again. Loved it.

( Just an aside, and I don't want to seem to be going on about it too much, but Onguma Tented Camp promised so much and delivered so little, especially compared to the others. We got the impression that all the Wilderness Safari camps/lodges were very well managed and the staff seemed happy in their job, which is always something positive and pleasing when you come across it. )" Read full review: 9 nights in Africa; 9 on a Namibia trip

"Wonderful trip to Namibia"

I visited Namibia between 5 Apr 2015 and 18 Apr 2015
"Fantastic trip. We all enjoyed our 2 weeks in Namibia. The itinerary was spot on, great variety of landscapes and activities, and all the accommodation choices were first rate.

It's a great destination for a family holiday, can't fault it." Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"My Mar 2015 trip"

I visited Namibia between 28 Mar 2015 and 11 Apr 2015
"We fell in love with Africa. The good trip is when everybody in the family is happy. When we sat in our return flight from Namibia to home and the first question of our kids was that when we come back to Africa - it was clear that we had a very good trip.

The older generation of our family was really impressed by the beautiful nature, the very friendly people who really cared if we enjoy our trip, the good food and by the cleanliness.
I did not expect that Namibia is such a perfect destination if you travel with kids. We were really impressed by the beautiful nature (which is really very special - we had not seen such places before, and so many wild animals) and since everything was very clean (even if you have the biggest sandpit on the earth which is questionably clean than it is not really the one of a lifetime experience) the kids could play very well - so everybody could find something interesting.

We were very surprised by the very good food, the good meat, the homemade bread (which is I presume a practical solution for big distances) and also homemade desserts and also the `house wine` was very good everywhere (which was of course South African wine but with overall good quality) - and everywhere was kids` menu available.

Everywhere we really liked the design of the camps and lodges, they were always very unique and matched with the surrounding nature and they were at very good locations.

So all in all and last but not least I think that you are really experts of Africa because you proposed us a brilliant itinerary, we saw very different places with each of them being beautiful, interesting and unique and very good camps and lodges to stay. We were extremely happy with the perfect organisation, everything was easy to understand and follow we received all the relevant info - I do not think that something was missing or not relevant.

We had an excellent time. Thank you very much!!" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 8 on a Namibia trip

"Brilliant trip"

I visited Namibia between 17 Feb 2015 and 8 Mar 2015
"Enjoyed the diverse landscapes, vastness and quiet. Game experiences were excellent.

A 4x4 is in our opinion essential - from a comfort point of view as well as peace of mind. A good itinerary and next time we would have a few more 3 night stops, rather than 2 nights to allow us to see more and relax. Good overall standard of accommodation. No problems with navigation because of information and marked map provided.

An exhilarating experience." Read full review: 19 nights in Africa; 17 on a Namibia trip

"NAMIBIA REVIEW"

I visited Namibia between 21 Jan 2015 and 3 Feb 2015
"Apart from the Car provided which was totally inadequate for the dirt roads Expert Africa come highly recommended. The trip was put together at very short notice and what was delivered was excellent.

The maps and general information provided when we arrived at Windhoek Airport were also excellent..

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
Make people aware that there are 7 times more dirt roads than tar roads so be aware as to the type of car you choose" Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip

I visited Namibia between 19 Jan 2015 and 29 Jan 2015
"All four of us thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. It was a fantastic experience. We saw lots of different parts of Namibia.

There was a good balance between seeing animals, seeing different landscapes and experiencing different parts of Namibia.

Even the rain and lightning was something we will not forget." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a Namibia trip

"Africa is catching"

I visited Namibia between 1 Jan 2015 and 29 Jan 2015
"we have, we guess, become bitten by the Africa bug. We had a great time though we know that our measures of enjoyment are not necessarily those that others might use. This was our first trip to Namibia and it lived up to expectations. Stunning landscapes, extraordinarily nice people, a history that you should learn about to understand the place.... and for those that live in great cities, just amazingly empty. What will we remember? Sabina said to us that we shouldn't waste money on hiring a 4x4 but suggested we got a vehicle that had good ground clearance. We went with this.

On our drive back from Wolwedans to Windhoek, having still not seen any major rain, we had to drive over a small range of mountains, and on the way to the main pass I realised that it had rained here and the road was largely washed away. But we got over the pass and I said it should be easy from here.My partner took over as we drove down to the plains, and the we remembered that if it rains in the mountains, the water has to go somewhere. When we drove into the second bit of flooded road which seemed to run as far as we could see in front of us, we swapped driving again, and after a couple of hiccups, we got through. Thanks for your suggestion Sabina, in a VW Golf, we'd still be sitting in the middle of a fllor, and as you know, not many cars come along in Namibia ....... We will of course go back; the deep south around the Snake River is there to visit and then we'd like to go along the Caprivi into Botswana and Zambia....

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Our experience of Expert Africa is that you are content to let people work out their own routes for particular sections of a trip and then help with areas where they are less confident. It probably reduces your income but it means that we feel that you are helping us work out what we want to do, rather than just selling us a package. This is more like the old time 'outfitters' who helped you buy your kit and suggested the best routes, than a travel agent. It suits us well and makes us feel confident in following your advice.

Thanks Sabina and you helped us enjoy your country." Read full review: 28 nights in Africa; 25 on a Namibia trip
