"Valentine's at the cricket!"

I visited South Africa between 30 Jan 2016 and 17 Feb 2016
"Having visited South Africa briefly on several occasions we decided to make it our focus this time. The weather was good, though very, very hot at Kwandwe.

We had a good range of accommodation and the exchange rate meant that everything was extremely good value once we got there. We'd chosen our own accommodation at Oudtshoorn which we suggest Expert Africa look at for future travellers.

Cape Town was, as always, lovely!

Already booked to go back next year!" Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 17 on a South Africa trip

"Our Jan 2016 SA Adventure"

I visited South Africa between 26 Jan 2016 and 16 Feb 2016
"A great success. We were delighted with Expert Africa. ( as expected after our experience in Namibia five years ago ) and would have no hesitation in recommending you to anybody wishing a great experience in Africa.

Clair and Tracy were always Very helpful and catered for our every need. Our reservations about Mimosa Lodge were easily resolved and did not reflect adversely on Expert Africa or its employees.

All in all we were hugely satisfied with the whole trip. Thank you all for you expertise and hard work to give us a memorable holiday.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

No. Just keep up this standard." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 17 on a South Africa trip

"Wonderful holiday"

I visited South Africa between 26 Jan 2016 and 16 Feb 2016
"Many thanks to Expert Africa for putting together such a good package with an excellent variety of places to visit and things to see.

Our 3 weeks has given us a taste of the country and we highly recommend to others. We thought our previous trip arranged by yourselves to Namibia could not be equalled but you proved us wrong. Many thanks AGAIN." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 17 on a South Africa trip

"Great trip"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 16 Jan 2016 and 14 Feb 2016
"We had a super 3 weeks driving ourselves around Namibia basically staying 2 nights in each location. We really liked the country, the people, the scenery and it has a very good infrastructure of roads and places to stay at.

Maruska really helped to organise the whole trip very efficiently. I also found the website to be very useful to prepare the trip

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Not really. I was very happy with everything (except the Ford Ranger vehicle)." Read full review: 29 nights in Africa; 21 on a Namibia trip

"Great trip taking in some exceptional places"

I visited South Africa between 16 Jan 2016 and 2 Feb 2016
"Our first trip to South Africa but hopefully not our last.

Everywhere we went was different and lovely in its own way.

We found people friendly, efficient and enthusiastic.

We stayed in and drove through some wonderful places.

The itinerary suggested by Claire after listening to what we enjoy doing was excellent- thank you." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 9 on a South Africa trip

"A wonderful holiday"

I visited South Africa and 2 other countries between 31 Dec 2015 and 16 Jan 2016
"A wonderful time in Cape Town blessed with beautiful weather and England not losing a test match!

This was surpassed by my time in Rwanda - a fascinating, visually stunning country.

Seeing the Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park was an amazing experience and is definitely one I would like to repeat.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Nothing comes to mind - my holiday was organized perfectly." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 9 on a South Africa trip

"My Dec 2015 trip"

I visited South Africa between 15 Dec 2015 and 2 Jan 2016
"It was a great trip but marred by a terrible hire car and extra De Hoop expenditure (both as outlined earlier). As a family we have made many life long memories which is the reason we wanted to do the trip in the first place. I will, however, steer well clear of self drive holidays for a while as the arguments Craig And I had over the driving and the car were too frequent and stressful!" "My 29 Nov. trip"

I visited South Africa between 5 Nov 2015 and 23 Nov 2015

Felt very safe everywhere." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 10 on a South Africa trip

"Re-acquainting ourselves with SA"

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 23 Oct 2015 and 8 Nov 2015
"It had been about nine years since we were last in Southern Africa and we had the pleasurable task of introducing some members of my family to this wonderful part of the world for the first time. It was a bit of a challenge to chart a course of safaris and 'chill-out' in the Cape when you have a combination of first-timers and a couple of 'old lags' to keep happy.

With the patient and knowledgeable Tracy at Expert Africa to help with suggestions and alternatives, I found the task was not as daunting as it might have been even when some members threw a bit of a curve ball at the end of the process, an eventuality that Tracy handled with professional grace and efficiency.

My partner and I have been clients of Expert Africa since Sunvil brought Chris in to broaden its product range. This he has delivered with peerless professionalism and has built a knowledgeable and very competent team over the years who, in this client's opinion, provide the best service available in the UK. Well done all and thanks to Tracy again." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 6 on a Botswana safari

"Our first foray to the Cape - not our last"

I visited South Africa between 22 Oct 2015 and 1 Nov 2015
"This was our 16th trip with Expert Africa but the first we have made since we moved our domicile to Zambia. As always, we had genuinely expert advice from the EA team - Lucy Copson primarily in this case but also with a valuable steer from Claire Scott which took us to the excellent Grootbos Forest Lodge (rather than its sister Garden Lodge). We achieved all of our objectives in terms of wildlife (including 112 bird species identified, 44 of which were 'lifers' - this being terra incognita for us); and we learned a great deal about the remarkable Fynbos. Our trip to Robben Island was another highlight, albeit of a very different nature. We shall be back to the Cape." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 10 on a South Africa trip
