"My Dec 2013 trip"

I visited Namibia between 28 Dec 2013 and 5 Jan 2014
"We were extremely satisfied with our trip. It was surprisingly easy to travel around Namibia. It was the perfect combination of adventure and comfort. We saw everything we were after. We enjoyed good food, great weather, friendly people.

We maanged to see rhinos (black and white), giraffes, lions, and loads of other animals. Though I have to say - we cheated a little bit and went for a tour arounf the Anderssons private reserve. On the second day we managed to see some lions, rhino, giraffes in teh Etosha park as well, but it was certainly less concentrated and further away than what we experienced in the private reserve.

We were perfectly satisfied with our car (4x4 Toyota Hilux) which seated the 5 of us very comfortably.

If we were to do this again we'd probably skip Swakopmund.

Thank you Tracy for organising this. It was a brilliant holiday! And we're all looking forwards to coming to Africa again!" Read full review: 8 nights in Africa; 5 on a Namibia trip

"One of Our Best Holidays !"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 15 Dec 2013 and 2 Jan 2014
"This was certainly one of our best ever holidays and up there with New Zealand and Australia. We loved Namibia even though it was the rainy season. The combination of Cape Town and Namibia was perfect. Thank you Expert Africa !

We used Air France from Manchester to Cape Town via Paris and booked this ourselves as we got good deals.

A mention about Wilderness Safaris as they were always helpful when we contacted them. Again thank you." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 15 on a Namibia trip

"Wonderful trip. We enjoyed everything.

We hope to go again. We would hope to stay at some simpler places in some instances, but this was our first trip and you don't quite know what to expect on a first trip. Overall we have no complaints, just wonderful memories!" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip

"Seriously good. Most enjoyable."

I visited Namibia between 21 Oct 2013 and 7 Nov 2013
"Loved Namibia, particularly its geological diversity. Easy driving. Good food - particularly if you are a 'free-range' meat-eater.

Highlights: walk down the Quiver Tree Gorge in the Naukluft, Sessriem dune walks and Dead Vlei, reptile tracking in the desert, moonlit dinner at Ongava.

Swakopmund rather dull and uninteresting - but we expected this. Enjoyed the tented camps." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"A wonderful and unforgettable trip."

I visited Namibia and 2 other countries between 21 Oct 2013 and 24 Nov 2013
"The trip was superb.

We are very happy with your recommendations, with your help and with the whole planning of the holiday.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Would be nice to indicate people traveling around Namibia in a self-driving trip the distances between locations.

We knew that and for us it was OK, but I think that for some elder drivers some of the distances between one hotel to the next can be fairly long." Read full review: 34 nights in Africa; 21 on a Namibia trip

"My Oct 2013 trip"

I visited Namibia between 20 Oct 2013 and 5 Nov 2013
"We had a wonderful trip and including the highlights we had it was even better than expected.

We always want to come back and see more of this vast and arid contry.

There are some regions left that we not have been, so until next time, cheers!" Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"A Second Visit to Namibia"

I visited Namibia between 16 Oct 2013 and 12 Nov 2013
"This was a comprehensive trip of almost a month, travelling in an anti-clockwise 'circle' ranging from Etosha in the north to Luderitz in the south.

We love this laid-back, spectacular country and the freedom that self-driving gives. It has to be one of the safest countries there is and we always felt completely comfortable. Apply normal common sense and visitors of any age can enjoy a wonderful adventure. In tourist terms everything is small scale and personal, even the most famous attractions attract very few people. Hugely enjoyable." Read full review: 27 nights in Africa; 21 on a Namibia trip

"A once in a lifetime family experience"

I visited Namibia between 15 Oct 2013 and 4 Nov 2013
"A big thank you to all at Expert Africa especially Sabina , we had such a wonderful time from the beginning to the end , every aspect was memorable to us all . We packed so much in , met so many lovely Namibians loved the utterly stunning dramatic scenery we drove through and were at times overwhelmed by the solitude that we experienced together as a family . We feel very fortunate to have been able see some of this very special unspoilt country it's people and it's beautiful wildlife .

I could go on ... we took over 5000 photographs !! I hope for my children the experience has been a wonderful introduction to Africa .
Best Wishes
Fiona Howard" Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 16 on a Namibia trip
