"My March April 2013 Africa Trip"

I visited Botswana between 31 Mar 2013 and 7 Apr 2013
"Although I was nervous about the trip, it was perfect. Each place we stayed was different and offered us different viewing perspectives.

Saskia was patient about answering all my questions and responding to all my concerns. She really worked hard to understand what we were hoping for and to give us a variety of reasonable options from which to choose. Her advice and guidance turned out to be perfect. The trip was everything I hoped for and more." Read full review: 7 nights in Africa; 7 on a Botswana safari

"Real Africa!"

I visited Botswana and 2 other countries between 28 Mar 2013 and 16 Apr 2013
"Outstanding in all respects. We have been to most of the world and certainly rank this trip among our favorites.

The assistance and guidance we received from Saskia Adye was fantastic, accurate and honest!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:
If I were to go on safari and was assigned to a vehicle with nine people crowded together, not even mentioning the roads - I would end my trip then and there! This did not happen to us and usually it was either my wife and self on one other couple with two couples only once for a short period. Obviously, I prefer the two bench vehicles with a top (although I fully realize this is not always possible for a number of reasons. We are 77 and in good shape, I seriously doubt if anyone our age or approaching our age not in a reasonalbly good physical and mental condition would enjoy the trip we took. However, there are certainly many alternatives for any situation whereby almost anyone could be accomodated as long as they realize it is not a trip to New York City." "My Mar 2013 trip"

I visited Botswana between 25 Mar 2013 and 6 Apr 2013
"We loved it.

The first couple of flights we were muttering about being told not to have wheeled luggage and luggage sizes as others were obviously ignoring this but then we got to the really small planes from Baines onwards and the need for small bags became obvious. However, we had also been told facilities to charge cameras would be limited and there were no problems in charging batteries between game drives so perhaps this advice could be amended.

Megan was very informative about availability in Botswana and we would recommend ExpertAfrica to our friends.

"My Mar 2013 trip"

I visited Botswana and 1 other country between 9 Mar 2013 and 19 Mar 2013
"Megan was instrumental in helping us make educated choices in order to ensure that we made the right choices of locations, camps and activities in Botswana to suit our personal desires. One interesting consideration is that we planned to visit Botswana at a time of year that is considered not quite best for seeing wildlife. We were thoroughly satisfied with what we saw and the low density and number of sightings just seemed to make every occasion just more special.

We consider ourselves fortunate that we chose to book with Expert Africa as they briefed and prepared us extremely thoroughly for the trip which resulted in one of the most enjoyable, comfortable and memorable adventures that we have ever experienced and completely in harmony with our tastes and expectations.

We also value Expert Africa's dedication to responsible tourism which helps lessen the impact (and worry) that people such as us cause lasting damage by visiting these remote and wonderfully pristine places." Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 8 on a Botswana safari

"Tubu Tree Camp"

I visited Botswana between 30 Dec 2012 and 2 Jan 2013
"Our trip was extremely well organised and I am very happy with the service that Expert Africa provided. Prior to booking I spent a substantial amount of time researching our travel options for Botswana. After talking to Expert Africa for several hours I was very pleased to find a professional organisation that provided me with a great deal of information about our camp options without any pressure to book immediately. Once we had decided where and when to go, Expert Africa was prompt in confirming our booking.

The pre-departure information was helpful and informative.

We really enjoyed Tubu Tree Camp and Botswana." Read full review: 3 nights in Africa; 3 on a Botswana safari

"My Dec 2012 trip"

I visited Botswana between 21 Dec 2012 and 28 Dec 2012
"Our 7-night trip to Botswana over Christmas 2012 was excellent. Expert Africa recommended a very good mix of camps and locations, with good contrasts between the vast Central Kalahari and then two quite different locations in the game-rich Okavango Delta. Camps were very high quality throughout, with a few minor areas for improvement which are covered in individual camp reviews.

We definitely felt we were getting good value for our money in each of these places - not only because of the accommodation and guides, but also because of the exclusivity. We rarely saw another vehicle at any point, and never more than one.

We had some concerns about travelling in December, when Botswana is often hot and wet (and when the wetland areas of the delta can be dry with high grass). These proved unfounded - weather was fine throughout, except one grey day, and not uncomfortably hot at game drive times (apart from one very long drive in the Kalahari). Bush fires in the delta actually meant that the grass was short in many areas and game viewing was excellent. And we were able to take boat and mokoro trips in both locations in the delta.

Huge thanks to all at Expert Africa, especially Megan, for the advice and for the quick responses to endless questions!" Read full review: 7 nights in Africa; 7 on a Botswana safari

"Botswana 2012"

I visited Botswana between 19 Dec 2012 and 2 Jan 2013
"I went the wrong way, should have done Lebala and Lagoon first as Little Kawara and Kanana really raised the bar. Meg was fantastic all the way through.

I would have preferred a bit more electronic stuff and less paper (same with your brochure which I prefer online as I am a greenie)" Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 13 on a Botswana safari
