"Magical Experience!"
The camp is wonderful and beautiful setting. Perfect view of the wildebeest migration from our tent. Our tent was kept spotless by our escort Charles. He was a sweetheart that took great care of us. They are prepared with everything you need including rain boots, jackets and umbrellas. The food was absolutely delicious! Very comfy bed, hot showers, bonfires and great company. We just loved everything about this place.
Our safari guide Festo was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about every animal, bird and insect. He can answer all questions. We had a blast with him and throughly enjoyed every one of our game drives. The animal sightings were spectacular! To be so close to all these animals in their natural habitat is indescribable.
We would definitely recommend this camp to others and plan on coming back! Thank you to all our new friends at Kimondo for such an amazing experience." See all these reviews: 6n in Zanzibar; 4n in Tanzania

"Kimondo Camp review"
This is a moveable camp, which typically comes with a little less luxury than the stationary camps, but they did an excellent job making it comfortable... the location makes for amazing wild drives... we very much liked the sunset drinks at the campfire, and the daily welcome ceremony after we returned from our drive!
finally, highest marks of our two week visit go to Elia, our guide... and what a guide he was! Not only did he drive a beautiful Landrover (rather than a new Toyota, like almost everyone else) but he knew were to find animals where no other would even think to look... We saw the big 5 with him in a matter of hours, plus on top of that a whole slew of other animals not easy to find, including an unforgettable encounter with Cheeta's...
Great story teller, great sense of humor..." See all these reviews: 9n in Tanzania; 2n in Zanzibar

"more than 10 river crossings in 4 days"
As You usually share a safari vehicle with other guests it seems to be important to make clear what You would like to see. We had a group in our car that where on safari for the first time - so they expected to go for lions, cheetah, rhino etc. Of course You can see these animals here, but that is usually not what You came for. If You go for these animals, You will be driving away from the river. But there is only one place in the word where You can see the migration of wildebeest and the dramatic river crossings! As there was an other couple from US in our car sharing our point of view, it was easy to "persuade" the others (especially as they didn't really know what to expect because they booked last minute). So in the end in our car everybody was very happy." See all these reviews: 7n in Tanzania
"Kimondo Camp review"
Karim was a great guide. The warmth and hospitality of the staff is amazing and in particular the camp manager Richard. They went out of their way to look after me and I really appreciate this. The chef tried really hard to cook food to meet my requirements.
The tents are comfortable and have everything you need. The bucket showers are substantial. Staff have to work really hard to provide for and look after guests in mobile tented camps." See all these reviews: 7n in Tanzania; 5n in Rwanda

"Bush Camp with very comfortable facilities"
As in all the Parks we had a fantastic chance to see the wildlife with superb guides and support. The trip delivered on all fronts. The one element that needs rethinking is the Bush Waklk around the Crater where we were given a five minute wlk ( we took much longer as we enjoyed being out of the Jeep. We were accompanied by a ranger with a gun who knew nothing of the environment (but looked after our safety. The walk needs to be managed more comprehensively and made more informative. Our guide Martin stayed with the Jeep when he would have been a much better guide. Both Martin and Elia, our guides filled their roles extremely well and were one of the key elements of our trip."
